PROFESSIONAL BIO Patricia Diel, LSW, CADC, SAP
Patricia has created an expansive reputation based on her integrity, her loyalty and her commitment to customers, as well as her experience and knowledge in the field.
Ms. Diel has over 36 years of experience working with individuals and families. Having received her Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana, she is a licensed social worker, licensed Sap (Substance abuse Professional) provider, holds certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and is certified as a Critical Incident Responder.
For 25 years, Ms. Diel operated a successful substance use and mental health facility and became known for her ability to gain rapport with her clients and for her commitment to customer service. Ms. Diel has extensive experience working in the area of substance use & addictions and in the area of child welfare. She has past experience in psychiatric care, has been involved in the Illinois Grant Allocation for nonprofit programs, and has worked in Springfield with Legislation on Child Welfare Issues & Juvenile Law Policy.
Ms. Diel has provided trainings and workshops for various organizations, including the Illinois State Certification Board, DASA DUI Orientation, Federal Department of Corrections, Community colleges and several EAP providers.
Ms. Diel also serves as an adjunct instructor for substance use disorders and social work.
